To investigate the climatology of ENSO, mainly as a modulator of the rainfall of Baja California. The head of this project is also, since 1993 the head of the Laboratory of Meteorology. During 1996, investigations were initiated earlier in this discipline with an emphasis on ocean-atmosphere interaction.
