still causes an irreparable loss. The paper explores the difference betw een risk

management and emergency m anagement in tourist destinat ion based on the introduction

of theory and practice of d isaster risk management in tourism destination in China and 

abroad. Then the paper stud ies theme thod and content o f estab lishing an framework of

disaster risk management in some key tourism destination. This framework, mainly from the

aspect of cooperation of tourists, local governments, tourism operating enterprises and 

local residents to participate in tourism risk management, puts forward a four in one tourism

risk management framework model of tourists, local governments, tourism operating

enterprises and local residents and offers theoretical basis for formulating the disaster

risk management paradigm in tourist destination and the sustainable developmentmode

of tourism.
