The objective is to illustrate how the environmental condition known in this region as Santa Ana Winds, is the mechanism that substantially contributes to the fertilization of the ocean adjacent to Baja California Peninsula. This environmental condition or weather occurrs during the fall and winter and is characterized mainly by dry wind that comes from the Northeast. The Santa Ana winds favor the propagation of wildfires due to the lack of humidity in the atmosphere.
