A quick visual evaluation of seismic vulnerability and human security conditions of the 113 schools of the city of Mexicali Baja California, are represented, analyzed and discussed. After identifying the type of school buildings and combining this information with the student population in each school, four grades of seismic vulnerability are established. It also monitors the conditions of human security of each facility including fire safety devices, emergency plan, evacuation routes, muster, evacuation drills and training of staff in schools. Results of this study include the identification of most vulnerable buildings.
