The report asesses disaster risks in South Eastern Europe at both the country and sub-regional levels, emphasizing transboundary disaster risks and their effects. It also looks at implemented country level risk assessments on the area to build a holistic picture of the regional disaster risk reduction needs. On the initiative of the World Bank and UN/ISDR secretariat, the report was developed by the South Eastern Europe Disaster Risk Mitigation and Adaptation Initiative (SEEDRMAI).
