Apply the method of empirical orthogonal function to observe the temporal and spatial behavior of the rain season on the Northwestern region of México. Also, identifying and analyzing the major ocean-atmosphere phenomena that govern the field of precipitation over the northwestern region of Mexico (Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa y and Chihuahua).
The results of the main modes of empirical orthogonal function, suggest an appropriate representation of the temporal and spatial distribution of precipitation field in Northwest region of Mexico.
