The course targets participants from the UN Country Teams, UNDP Country Of- fices and from other agencies involved in DRR/M in the country. The course gives participants an overall understanding of disaster risk assessment, its use in devel- opment planning, and the process of facilitating a comprehensive disaster risk assessment in a country. The training package contains power points, reading material, group work exercises and facilitator notes.
